HOW IT WORKS!

First, pick a lot

Upon picking your lot, to hold it there is a $5000 deposit  

Next pick a floor plan (Options mentioned below)

 All of the homes are built to order.

   We are working with three great builders.   Two out of Indiana and one out of Wisconsin  

Each one has different things they can offer in regards to siding, roof styles. Once you pick your plan, we will get you the corresponding design brochure for you to pick out your window, color, cabinets, counter tops, paint colors, An exterior siding.  

Once we have all your selections, pricing will take 24-48 Business hours 

If you want to move forward, it’s a 25 percent deposit 

Construction times do vary, but most should be able to be built in 5-10 weeks (before order, we should have an approximate timeframe) 

When the home is completed, before they ship it to us, another 50 percent is due 

Once the home is done being built and payment is received, the approximate delivery to the retreat is a week later.  

During the construction process of the home, we will be working on the site prep 

We want to push that process along as fast and efficiently as possible, but some of the lots require natural gas, pedestal updates, and relocation of natural gas meters and electrical services, which can delay things .On electrical and gas infrastructure, we are at the mercy of Consumers Energy 

Once the home is set and skirted, the final payment is due 

After your home is ordered, you do have access to the community’s amenities

• Affordable Lot Rent – The annual lot rent is $6,000 per year, providing an affordable alternative to traditional lakefront homeownership.
• Exclusive Boat Slips – The Retreat offers a limited number of boat slips, approximately half as many as there are lots, available exclusively to residents for $1,500 per year.
• Resort-Style Amenities – Residents will enjoy a range of community amenities, including:
  • A resident bathhouse and laundry facility

• Move-In Ready & Custom Options – Model homes are on order so you can tour and experience them in person. New homes have an approximate lead time of six weeks, with an additional two weeks for setup once delivered.

• No Short-Term Rentals – This is a private second-home community, and short-term rentals (such as Airbnb or VRBO) are not permitted.
