Fenton has a lot of places to eat, but here are some you should definitely check out!
Best Burger:
If you’re in the mood for a nice juicy flavorful burger, check out the Cowboy Burger at ‘The Barn’. It’s made from local bacon with a little pork and beef to help out. Topped with Smokey BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, local bacon, fried onion rings, fried house-made pickles, and coleslaw.

Best Fries:
You can find the best fries in Fenton at the Fenton Fire Hall. These hand cut fries are golden and crispy on the outside, with soft potatoey goodness inside and served with Fire Hall mayo for dipping.

Best Pizza:
A relative newcomer to Fenton, Hippos has taken its place in my heart (and stomach) as Fenton’s best pizza. They spread the toppings to the very edge of the crust for more coverage, and use 100% real cheese. Try the ranch crust!

Best Tacos:
Cancun offers a wide variety of tacos: beef, chicken, pork, chorizo, and fish. If you’re feeling bold, try their Tacos Locos which have pineapple on them! In addition to soft and hard shells, you can get them done medium, which is my personal favorite.

Best Bar:
If you’re looking for a night out with drinks and friends, check out The Fireplace (not to be confused with the Fire Hall). This lakeside bar provides a scenic view and a long list of beers, wines, and specialty drinks, as well as a robust menu. Prices are reasonable, so you can enjoy yourself all evening.

Best Date Night:
For a special night out, head over to Ciao Italian Bistro and Wine Bar. Offering fine dining, an upscale atmosphere, and a large menu of both traditional and modern dishes it’s sure to impress your date.

Best Breakfast:
My favorite place for breakfast is actually just outside of Fenton, in Linden. They open bright and early and serve delicious biscuits and gravy as well as omelets. Fun and friendly atmosphere, a great way to start your day!

Best Drive-Thru:
If you need a quick bite, Halo Burger is the best drive-thru restaurant, in my opinion. They started in Flint in 1923 and continue to serve Mid-Michigan almost 100 years later! Their dino nuggets are a hit with kids (and adults) and they have Vernors Boston Coolers and Koegels Hot Dogs.

Best Atmosphere:
It’s a tie between The Fenton Pub and The Fenton Hotel. The Fenton Pub is a cool hang out and shoot pool place for before or after dinner. They don’t serve food, but they have some bomb popcorn to go with your drinks! Fenton hotel has two sides, one is perfect for a romantic dinner, and the bar side often has live music or someone playing the piano that you can sing along with.

Best Ice Cream:
Uncle Rays is hands-down the best ice cream in Fenton. They are a micro-creamery so they make their own ice cream in-house, and also offer frozen yogurt and soft serve. You can also enjoy a round of mini-golf with the kids!

Best Sandwich:
If you’re looking for a delicious, filling sandwich, head over to the Fenton Deli. They offer over 40 subs, both warm and cold. They feature a monthly sub, some of which are quite unique. For example, they’ve used Belgian waffles instead of sub buns, and even made subs with eggrolls in them!
