Sleeping is probably one of your pets’ favorite thing to do, so their designated spot should be cozy and roomy. Corners with enough space will be best for this pastime, or even an area under the stairs. If this spot isn’t directly a part of your room, you could try to decorate it more for your pets. This will be a place for your pets to sleep and relax in during the day or whenever they want.

Another great spot for your pets own area could be in your bedroom. You could put a small bed, complete with a mattress, pillows, and toys for your pet. This idea is best for if you like your pets being near you, but you still want them to have their own space. Your pets little bed can be anywhere in your room, by your bed, at the end of your bed, by the door or closet, wherever it fits best. You don’t want to make your room look messy or cluttered so make sure the placement works for you both.

It is important that your pets’ food is in its own area and in a place where it can get a little messy. As much as we love our pets, they do sometimes make a mess when they eat and you wouldn’t want that in your room, on your carpet or where your company can easily see the mess. A common place is in your kitchen, or somewhere with hardwood floors. If you don’t want the food dishes in the way, try looking for or making a spot that is out of the way and won’t disturb you or your guests.

Making your pets feel at home is very important for animal lovers. It is important to have a balance with your convenience and their comfort, you don’t want to make more of a hassle for yourself.
